Project CATE

Project Children Amputees of Turkiye Earthquake (Project CATE) is an earthquake relief effort overseen by the Bridge to Turkiye Fund (BTF), a non-profit organization focused on health and well-being, education, environmental conservation, and disaster management. Project CATE aims to provide children affected by the earthquake with physical therapy, prostheses, orthoses, rehabilitation, and long-term education to ensure they grow into healthy adults within society. IMO is partnering up with BTF to plan and execute a trip to Turkiye (May, 2025)! This trip involves volunteering and shadowing at the CATE center in Adana, helping to set up a prosthesis lab through donations and on-site labor, and teaching English to children.
