In the village of Mare-Barignol there lives a small, rural, yet remarkable community. The village is also the home of I.M.O's greatest efforts, often referred to as our "Permanent Project." I.M.O researchers are completing the steps to reduce malnutrition by introducing the Moringa plant. The Moringa is a versatile plant that exhibits properties villagers desperately need.Learn further about our research and Moringa.
Our Medical Expeditions
Every semester, I.M.O embarks upon our coordinated Medical Expeditions. We partner with a local physician to provide medical need to the local community and educate not only the locals but our members in the process. While our greatest efforts are in Haiti, we have visited Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, Honduras, Costa Rica among others.Learn more about our Medical Expeditions
The IMO Family
IMO is made up of a modest amount of students from UCF. We nurture our members and leaders to form, quite accurately, a family; accepting of all ages, academic background, and major. From our socials and fundraisers to our committee meetings and health trainings, members feel welcome and prosper in our cooperative environment.Find out how we Work Hard, Play Hard
